Bass Point Resort Policies

Bass Point Resort is open from April - October. Peak season begins the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and ends the Tuesday following Labor Day.


You may inquire about the property by phone or email. All reservations must be made over the phone and confirmed with a deposit and pre-authorized credit card.

Deposit & Payment Policy

A $150 deposit is required to hold a reservation of three nights or less. A $350.00 deposit is required to hold reservations of four or more nights. The deposit will be deducted from your bill when paid in full, and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. For reservations made 30 days or less prior to arrival, payment in full will be due at the time of reservation.

Bass Point Resort accepts cash, cashier check, money orders, traveler checks, personal or business checks, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. A 3% processing fee will be added for credit card payments.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel an existing reservation, guests must call the Bass Point Office at 573-374-5205. If cancellation is made 30 days or more before arrival date, the deposit will be refunded. Cancellation made less than 30 days prior to arrival date, will be forfeited. To avoid forfeiture, contact the Bass Point Resort Office to reschedule your stay.

Sorry, no refunds for early departure, late arrival or acts of Mother Nature. As a seasonal business, Bass Point Resort has a limited time frame to rent cottages, and keeping them full is the ultimate goal. Plans change and the unexpected may happen, and we are willing to assist you in rescheduling your trip, if needed.

Check In/Check Out

Check-in time is after 4:00PM. If you plan on arriving after 6:00PM, please make arrangements with the office prior to arrival. Check-out is at 10:00AM sharp.

Extra Persons

The Bass Point Resort property and amenities are reserved for guests only. All guests must be registered and confirmed prior to arriving. There will be a $50 per person per day fee for additional guests.

One Night's Stay

Requires additional $25 cleaning fee.

Pet Policy

Pets are not permitted on the property or inside the cabins. Violators of this policy will be charged a $200 deep cleaning fee to the credit card on file and asked to leave.


All cabins are smoke free. Please do not smoke in the cabins. Violators of this policy will be charged a $200.00 deep cleaning fee to the credit card on file.

Holidays or Special Events

NOTE: All rates are charged at Maximum Occupancy Rate on Holidays or special events

  • Major Fishing Tournaments- 2 Night minimum

  • Memorial Weekend- 3 Night minimum

  • Fourth of July- 7 Night minimum

  • Labor Day- 3 Night minimum
